I strongly support textbook rentals as a the alternative for high priced books. This will in turn effect the textbook industry and will hopefully help to reduce the price of textbooks. Think about it, if you rent instead of purchasing your books, the industry will be hit in the pocket. This will hopefully open the eyes of those involved. DON'T BUY IT, RENT IT !

Chegg is a great way for students to rent textbooks at a huge discount compared to purchasing the over-priced textbooks at their respective colleges.

Me personally, I have saved over $160 dollars from renting from Chegg.com Not only am I able to save money this way, but I am saving the earth. For each book that I have rented chegg has planted a tree on my behalf, which makes me feel good not only as a student but a human being.

Also, try sites like bigwords.com, www.campusbookrentals.com, and www.bookrenter.com to save money.

I also would like to see all colleges get on board with releasing aid earlier to students so that they can take advantages of the lower cost textbooks
